We are delighted to announce that, as part of their Social Value funding following the Windows and Doors programme launched in 2024, Nationwide Windows and Doors has generously donated £5,000 towards the Castle Vale Community Festival, taking place this Saturday.

This donation forms part of a wider investment being reinvested into The Pioneer Group worth over £70,000, following the successful upgrade of over 2,000 homes across Castle Vale. The programme saw significant improvements to windows and doors, enhancing the quality and energy efficiency of local properties, a project which is due to be completed by Autumn this year.

The £5,000 contribution will help fund a range of activities throughout the day, including promotional materials, entertainment, and community engagement initiatives. We’re thrilled with the support and proud to see Nationwide reinvesting in the community.

Laura Grigg, Community HUBS Manager, said “We’re really pleased with the kind donation from Nationwide Windows and Doors towards the Community Festival. It’s an amazing day that the community is really looking forward to.

Through this donation we’ve been able to add to the list of activities taking place, including the Animal Encounters experience, bouncy castles, merchandise, and free children’s entertainment.”

The Castle Vale Community Festival will take place this Saturday, starting at midday on Farnborough Fields.

The event is free to attend, with a wide range of activities planned throughout the day for all ages.
