Castle Vale residents are encouraged to take advantage of a community support initiative which will help people save money on their bills.

The Pioneer Group, on behalf of Peddimore Birmingham, is urging individuals and families who are on gas and/or electric pre-payment meters to claim their free energy voucher worth £49.

Tosin Durojaiye, Income Manager at Pioneer, said: We are always looking for ways to support our tenants and the residents of Castle Vale.

“We would urge those in our community who are eligible to claim a Peddimore Energy Voucher to do so.”

Vouchers will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis on the following dates at the following locations:

• Thursday 13^th July from 10am-4pm at Witton Lodge Community Association, 87 Witton Lodge Road B23 5JD
• Tuesday 18^th July from 10am to 4pm at Six Ways Baptist Church, Erdington B24 8AD.

To claim a voucher you must satisfy the following criteria

• Proof of address
• Proof of pre-payment meter
• Proof of universal credit or low income payslip or pension credits/other benefits
