The Pioneer Group are working with the Birmingham Anchor Network – a partnerships of 7 institutions seeking to create a fairer, more just and more sustainable economy in Birmingham – on a recovery employment project. This project will seek to create a bridge, enabling workers displaced by COVID-19 to quickly access new employment opportunities to help stimulate our thinking on this project. Our Head of Partnerships, Ifor Jones, has put together a reflective case study on his experiences in dealing with the impact on local communities from the closure of MG Rover in 2005.
