The 6th annual Stockland Green Community Pride Awards was recently held by Stockland Green Ward Advisory Board and took place at The Midlands Greek & Cypriot Association on Friday 9 November 2018.
More than 150 community members, local business owners and supportive organisations attended to celebrate the achievements of the people and groups that are leading the way in making Stockland Green a better place to live.
Junaid Gharda, Chair of Slade Primary School, hosted the event alongside key representatives of Stockland Green, to present the awards.
The accomplishments of the community were recognised across ten awards that showcased inspiring examples of kindness devoting time and energy into projects for the benefit others.
Demonstrating a range of projects, the 2018 winners include:

The event was well received and attended by a wide reach of influential delegates including Councillor Penny Holbrook, Councillor Josh Jones, MP Jack Dromey, and Alison Fisher, Chair of The Pioneer Group.
