The Pioneer Group comments on the Jaguar Land Rovers changes to production schedule
With the recent announcement that Jaguar Land Rover are moving a number of workers from a five-day week to a three-day week, The Pioneer Group reminds the local community that there are a number of advice and support services available.
Kate Foley, newly appointed Housing & Community Services Director of CVCH, said:
While we welcome the commitment by JLR to maintain workers on full pay, we understand this could cause some concern with regards to the impact on people’s personal circumstances, however we will always be here to assist individuals and families with these changes.
Castle Vale is a strong neighbourhood and a resilient community and with such a wide range of support services available, it will continue to thrive.
The Pioneer Group is an alliance of people and organisations based in Castle Vale providing community-driven housing solutions and support services to meet the needs of local people and the communities they live in.
